Generation after generation our family in Italy crafted a signature recipe for Limoncello that was passed down and perfected over the years. The recipe was so adored by my family that after 4 generations it moved across the seas with us to Australia, where my mum Franca Cece introduced my brother and I to it.
An experience of family history in such a sensational way – being able to taste the love and passion that went into the Liqueur, is what drove me in our journey with Cello.VIEW ALL COCKTAILS
In 2006, my brother and I opened up an Italian restaurant with my Mum, Franca Cece, as the Head Chef.
Mum made it a tradition to share complementary serves of our traditional Limoncello, at the end of dinner, to the people dining and watched their faces light up when they took the first sip.
After having many people at our restaurant beg us to sell them our Limoncello, I decided that I wanted people to make memories with Limoncello the way that my family and I had. That was when Cello Liqueur was born.FACTORY VISITS
With the blessing of my mum and the support of my wife, Teresa, I developed the Cello range. In 2010 the first Cello Liqueurs landed on the shelves of my local bottle shop and within the next year we were awarded 1st place in the World for our Limoncello at the 3 most prestigious competitions worldwide!, In 2017 we launched a new smooth and intense milk-based Liqueur range, ‘Dolce by Cello’ and later that year, 3 products were awarded 1st place in London!
After years of success and hard work, raising brand awareness and attending over 20 Food and Wine shows per year, Cello is now a National product. We are both humbled and proud to say that our Cello and Dolce products have gone on to win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in multiple International Wine and Spirit Competitions.OUR AWARDS
